Asha is from the Marati Nayak Tribal community in Southern India. She has a Masters of Sociology from Mangalore University and she Graduated from Asian Rural Institute of Japan as a servant leader in 2017.
Asha’s family wanted to educate their children to allow them to progress in life. During her school holidays Asha and her sister used work in the coffee plantation to help with school fees and other basic needs.
Asha has worked as a Project facilitator in the development sector, where she coordinated between varying organisations, and the local Community. Having worked with NGO’s in the field she has become motivated to do work with a wider reach which has brought her to work at CDV Global.
Her mantra is “let us join hands to create an equitable, healthy, sustainable society with high self-esteem in future”.

Nidhan is the man with a mission to discover the whole of India! He has traversed deserts, ridden motorbikes across mountain ranges and visited the most remote places India has to offer.
He was born and raised in Kerala and cut his teeth on adventure travel in the backwaters, learning how to guide, climb, canoe and mountain bike through and across the wilds of the Western Ghats mountain range.
Nidhin has many years of experience leading international tour groups and managing large scale international logistics. He is active in the natural disaster responses for the State of Kerala and works tirelessly coordinating relief for flooding and jungle fires in Kerala.
He also works in the development sector, working closely with communities on water and sanitation projects.
In his limited spare time he is a keen birding enthusiast and loves viewing wildlife and learning new recipes from his mum!

We are also lucky to have experience from across the globe.
After 10 years in London working in IT and Finance, Anth sought a change in career so volunteered for youth development charities which eventually led him to Borneo as a Project Manager working on a community project in a remote village.
He moved on to be an expedition leader leading trips to East Africa, where he managed groups of volunteers working on community and environmental projects. He later returned to Malaysia as Asia Operations Manager for an overseas development & volunteer organisation, implementing and overseeing projects & expeditions across South East Asia.
In 2012 Anth moved to Kuala Lumpur to launch a CSR advisory service, working to better link NGOs with corporate funders. This dual sided career across more than 20 years means he is just at home in the field with project staff as the boardroom with stakeholders, and is perfectly placed to assess the requirements of the NGOs, projects, volunteers and clients CDV Global bring together.
In his spare time he attempts to play his guitar whilst fending off his cat.

Paul was a senior operational manager in the UK prison service, but in 2007 he decided to seek a new challenge, choosing to pursue a career in International Development.
Having worked and lived on three continents, the last five years have seen Paul working in India and Nepal managing and delivering youth led development programs, specializing in livelihood generation and sanitation.
The natural culmination of these experiences led to his conceiving and founding of CDV Global, purposefully created to support grassroots development organisations, something Paul feels pasionately about.
In his free time, he enjoys browsing antique shops and having a few beers with friends.

After a career starting in audit with one of the big four, followed by a very successful experience as a business developer in several start-ups in Berlin, Tim, a 28 year old French man, decided it was time to do something radically more meaningful.
He seized an opportunity to head to Nepal and work as a Volunteer Manager on a complex development project, where he met with and worked under the guidance of CDV Global founder, Paul Burgess.
Following the strong connection Tim has made over there, it was naturally that he decided to join CDV Global and contribute to its growth by working on sales and marketing and business development.
